Random # 209: 1938 Chevrolet Straight Six Master Deluxe

This magnificent ocean-liner of a Chevrolet was photographed at the 2018 Bream Creek Show, about an hour's drive east of Tasmania's capital city, Hobart.

According to its gentleman owner, the car is ex-Queensland, having been in Tasmania for less than a year.

It's an Australian manufactured vehicle, produced by General Motors-Holdens Ltd, who had by that stage become a subsidiary of GM's operations in the United States of America.

To say the car was perfect would be to significantly understate the amazing quality of of its restoration; every single aspect - from its paint, chrome and interior - were absolutely pristine and a true credit to whoever did the work and the current owner's diligent attention to detail in keeping it looking so fabulous.
