Random # 343: a 1965 EH Holden Sedan

Image
This stunning EH Holden - photographed in Hobart, Tasmania - has not previously graced the pages of Upper Middle Petrol Head, unlike the lovely Escort that featured in our last post ( https://uppermiddlepetrolhead.blogspot.com/2024/12/from-former-canberra-chief.html ).  However, the EH is anything but rare fare for this 'blog with many, many examples being shown, thereby demonstrating the prevalence and extreme popularity of Holden's first car to be powered by their legendary six cylinder "red" engine.   Today's example - a late version, having apparently been built in the last of the EH's three year production run - was in lovely all-round condition.  It was more or less stock, save a QH headlight upgrade, a set of HX-and-beyond Premier / Monaro door mirrors, a sports steering wheel and instrumentation, floor-shift manual transmission and some classic "Jelly Bean" mags shod with B F Goodrich Radial TA s.  It probably had a disc brake front end, to...

Please enjoy! Did you enjoy this post?  If so, why not browse the rest of the uppermiddlepetrolhead site?  There are loads and loads of classic, sports and performance vehicles fe...
