Random # 159: Citroen BX 19 TZI
Say what you will about French cars but they're rarely dull - Citroens, especially. This one - a 1994 Citroen BX 19 TZI - was towards the end of the BX line-up and, as the 19 in the model designation suggests, is fitted with a 1.9 litre engine. Michael also said that this B X (all BX s?) was / were styled by Nuccio Bertone - or, according to Wikipedia, by Marcello Gandini working for Bertone - the design house responsible for Fiat X1/9 and Lancia's iconic Stratos , to name but two of their impressive CV fillers . Nuccio Berton e is not to be mistaken for fellow Italian Flaminio Berton i , the designer responsible for Citroen's iconic Traction Avant , 2CV and DS models. Confused? You're forgiven! ...
