Random # 45: Later Type 2 'Bay-Window' Kombi Camper

Here's another fabulous Kombi spotted near the heart of Hobart's CBD.  As a later 'Bay Window' version, it's a nice contrast to the earlier example depicted in Random # 33 ( https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=7165367970551834236#editor/target=post;postID=1619322309408028799;onPublishedMenu=posts;onClosedMenu=posts;postNum=6;src=postname ). Random # 44: Mustang Convertible

American-made vehicles have a huge following in Australia.  That's not just confined the the mainland, either ; the southern island state has more than its fair share of shiny US muscle cars on its roads. This lovely Mustang convertible, spotted at Hobart's Sandy Bay, is a great example of the type and quality of some of the State-side cars gracing Tasmania.  Finished in immaculate red duco, it could have passed for brand new had fifty or so years not passed since it was manufactured.  U M P H ( uppermiddlepetrolhead.blogspot.com.au .) iPhone images.
